The treatment area is treated with laser light in order to globally stimulate collagen which helps minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, lax skin, pores, & overall tone & texture. The great part about the Neo laser is that it has many "positive side-effects" such as pigment reduction, removal of unwanted hairs, & even reduction of rosacea/general redness. Acne Reduction

NeoClear reduces the severity of current breakouts while reducing the frequency & severity of future breakouts. The laser energy penetrates deeply into the skin, generating heat around the sebaceous glands. The heat reduces sebum output, suppresses inflammation, & destroys the P. acne bacteria. Setting itself apart from other lasers, the Neo's hand-piece never comes in contact with the skin so the active acne isn't disturbed & bacteria isn't spread by the hand piece. Small Area Hair Reduction

Laser hair reduction (LHR) uses a combination of heat and energy to destroy the hair follicle without harming the skin around it. The Neo laser offers patients a uniquely pain-free and gentle way to get rid of/reduce any unwanted hair. Most patients who have been treated by other lasers say that being treated with the Neo is much gentler and more pleasant. During laser hair reduction, the hair must be in its growing phase in order to be successfully destroyed. To ensure that all hair is effectively removed during the growing phase, you will receive a series of treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart. This will successfully ensure maximum results. Due to this lasers smaller beam size we have chosen to only offer laser hair reduction on small areas of the body such as upper lip & chin, sideburns, underarms, or roughly a 5"x5" area (Newly also: Neckline, Beard-line, & Forehead-line for baby-hairs) Other lasers made specifically for LHR are able to treat a larger surface area at a faster rate.
Spider Vein/Talengeictasia Reduction
(Recommended: 1-3 Sessions ~ Cycle: 3-4 Weeks)
The Neo is able to safely treat a broad range of visible blood vessels from angiomas and spider veins to large leg veins. Due to the lasers beam size we have chosen to only treat smaller areas effected by spider veins/talengeictasia. On non-facial treatment areas that exceed roughly 5"x5" (per limb) we would recommend sclerotherapy due to the time it would take to affectively treat the entire area.
Rosacea Reduction

Rosacea is a chronic disorder that is characterized by facial flushing and with time the gradual development of persistent facial redness and spider-like blood vessels. It is often punctuated by episodes of inflammatory papules (bumps), pustules (pimples), and swelling. The laser light destroys visible blood vessels or reduces extensive redness. The Neo laser emits pulses of light that target tiny blood vessels just under the skin. Heat from the laser's energy builds in the vessels, causing them to disintegrate. Due to rosacea's chronic nature we would like to state that while this treatment is very effective at treating the symptom of this condition, it is not curing it. Hyperpigmentation/Dark Spot Reduction

Over time, your skin is affected by exposure to UV light be it natural or manmade & this can cause pigmentary changes on the surface of the skin. The result can be sun or age spots as well as freckles. Some skin is affected by pigmentary changes at birth, called nevi or birthmarks. Regardless of the pigmentary condition, the Neo can safely and effectively treat your pigmented spots/lesions, resulting in an even and uniform skin tone. Scar Revision
(Recommended: 3 Sessions ~ Cycle: 4 - 6 Weeks)
Laser scar revision helps to diminish the appearance of the scarred area be it a single scar, multiple, or acne scarring, by inducing the production of collagen and elastin through a super heated, micro-second pulse. This tightens and smooths the area while also diminishing the possible pigmentation of the scarring. If you have scarring that is not pigmented and is white or opaque in color, Microneedling may be also be a comparable option. Melasma Reduction

Melasma is a very common patchy brown, tan, or blue-gray facial skin discoloration, primarily seen on the upper cheeks, lip, forehead and chin of women 20-50 years of age. Uncontrolled sunlight exposure is considered the leading cause of melasma, especially in individuals with a genetic predisposition to this condition. Melasma is most common among pregnant women. The LightPod Neo targets melanin deep within the dermis to effectively lighten or clear any discolored patches in order to achieve a uniform skin tone. Psoriasis Reduction
(Recommended: 2 - 3 Sessions ~ Cycle: 3 - 4 Weeks)
Psoriasis is a chronic disorder that causes thick red plaques with silvery scales on the skin and is typically characterized by having up and down periods where the symptoms heighten and lessen. While psoriasis is not curable, it can be controlled very well with laser light so that you may have increased function and with cleared or decreased. The Neo emits a powerful, yet gentle, beam of laser light to effectively penetrate the psoriasis plaque and induce the body’s immune response to help clear the plaque. While psoriasis may improve with treatment and even be gone for a number of months, follow-up sessions may be necessary to upkeep the results. As is with the rosacea treatment, the laser can only treat the symptom not the cause.
