All services are performed in-office in a discreet and calming medical setting; this ensures optimal comfort during a possibly sensitive procedure. We will go above and beyond to ensure that you're satisfied with your treatment & are treated well throughout your experience with us.
We offer many different treatments to choose from including Aerolase cosmetic laser, mincroneedling (opt. PRP), IV hydration, Botox, and Juvéderm cosmetic filler. With Stone Med as the primary business offering primary care & weight management, we have many different outlets at our disposal.
The Providers
Peter Winfrey LNA, CLT
Peter is a Licensed Nurse Assistant and Esthetician. He holds certifications in Medical Office Management, phlebotomy, & cosmetic laser. He graduated from MedStar Academy's CNA program in 2025 and took the extra steps to become licensed. He became a Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM) in 2023, certified in phlebotomy in 2022, and in 2016 he graduated with a license in Esthetics from Penrose Academy in Scottsdale. He is currently attending RN school at Pima Medical Institute and is on track to graduate December of 2027.
In his free time, he enjoys playing with his Frenchie Bailee and exploring the trails of South Mountain. He also love frequenting art festivals and finding new local artists and establishments to support. His passion for beauty comes from his struggles with self-esteem growing up. The whole reason he decided to pursue Esthetics and self-care is because of the joy and sense of purpose he feels from helping someone feel better about themselves through their own skin. It is because of this he truly loves what he does every day.
Christina Tretter NP-C
Christina (Tina) Tretter has more than 19 years of diverse healthcare experience. Tina earned her BSN at Grand Canyon University and her MSN as an adult Nurse Practitioner with high honors from Maryville St Louis University. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Tina worked in all areas of nursing from critical care to oncology.
Tina continues to maintain her passion for sports, health and wellness. As a certified athletic trainer, she has volunteered for high school track & field and cross country as both a trainer and coach. Simultaneously she counseled and trained vegan and vegetarian endurance athletes and worked to bring healthy meals into the school system. Tina also has experience working with overweight and plus-size patients, helping manage and maintain their weight and nutrition. She strives to inform, educate and guide patients into healthy livable lifestyle choices.
Tina’s personal philosophy incorporates holistic and complementary alternatives to traditional medicine. She feels that “as every patient is an individual—so is their treatment plan.” Tina co-started Stone Med with Dr. Stone in August 2018. In addition to her role in the management of pain and injury, she offers numerous other services including Primary Care, IV Hydration, and Sports Medicine.
In her spare time Tina enjoys trail running, hiking, mountain biking, and weight training. Her mellow side relishes in gardening and cooking. She lives in Ahwatukee with her husband John; John and Tina have 4 other children, Peter, Ed, Chiane and Joe.
